2022 Graduation Update
Hello class of 2022, we have some exciting news! After reviewing the numbers, and considering the possibilities and options, here is what Grad 2022 will look like:
The Graduation Ceremony on May 28th, when you cross the stage in your gown and sash, will be split into 2 1-1.5 hour ceremonies. You will have the opportunity to choose your preference of morning ceremony (11:00 am start), or afternoon ceremony (1:30pm start), but we cannot guarantee your time. The sign up will be first come first serve, so make sure to talk to your family and friends before the sign up opens. You will be emailed a sign up link at a later date.
Each grad will be given 4-6 tickets (exact number to be determined closer to date due to capacity restrictions) for their guests to attend the ceremony. Everyone attending, other than the grad, will need a ticket, yes even children. You will receive your tickets and, if you are needing more than the allotted number, you will have the opportunity to ask other graduates if they have extra tickets they are willing to part with.
Grads you will be asked to submit a thank you/future plans blurb to be read out loud by our ceremony hosts while you cross the stage and pose for a picture with Mr. Larson. You will receive the google form to fill out for this at a later date.
The Evening Celebration, when you come in your formal dress for the grand march, speeches, and dance will HOPEFULLY happen from 7-11pm that evening. We are saying "hopefully" because we would like an opportunity to have all the grads, and guests, together to celebrate, but we need to be mindful of the capacity limits (typically attendance is lower at the Celebration). Tickets for guests will be $10/ea for up to 4 guests per grad. We will keep you updated on the Celebration details.
The mandatory Grad fee of $20 will be showing up on your School Fees online account soon. This fee covers the cost of all the AV equipment, your gown, the DJ, and your personal Grad Celebration ticket.
We are looking forward to celebrating your graduation with you! Congratulations class of 2022, this is happening!!!
