Welcome Grade 9 Families!
The 2025 Grade 9 Orientation Night is on Wednesday, March 26th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
At the Parent/Student Orientation Night, the following information will be presented:
- The requirements for a High School Diploma and the Knowledge and Employability Certificate,
- How to select courses, both core and complementary,
- The Advanced Placement and Honors Programs,
- Teachers in all subject areas will present information about courses, expectations, instructional approaches, and critical learning skills
The next major event is the Registration Interview at the school. The student, along with a parent/guardian will meet with an SHS counselor to discuss and finalize their timetable for fall. Interview times will be posted at a later date.
The online appointment booking system will be open on May 1st. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting. Click on the link below to book your appointment with Mrs. Galandy or Ms. Westgard. Students entering into the K&E Program will be booking with a different teacher.
