Today is Orange Shirt Day in Honour of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today we wear our orange shirts in honour of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. After announcements please watch the videos provided to your teachers explaining the importance of this day. Please also consider buying an ‘Every Child Matters’ sticker or an Orange Ribbon. They will be sold at the library, office and in the street for $2 today. If you are looking to participate in an event; on Saturday, September 30th - New Blood is performing at the Bert Church Theatre in Airdrie at 3:30 pm. The Town of Strathmore is also hosting a walk beginning at 11:00 am at Kinsmen Park.
